Breast reduction in Switzerland - Restoring comfort and well-being
Overly large breasts can cause back, neck and shoulder pain, limit physical activity and make everyday life uncomfortable. Breast reduction surgery (or reduction plasty) reduces the weight and volume of the breasts to improve posture, relieve tension and restore a more balanced silhouette.
Events such as pregnancy, breastfeeding or major weight changes can also influence the shape and size of the breasts.
When should a breast reduction be considered?
This procedure can be proposed if you :
- Feel physical discomfort related to the size of your breasts,
- Have difficulty getting dressed or playing sports,
- Wish to regain a curvature more suited to your morphology.
Surgery can be performed as soon as breast development is complete. Some patients also choose to have it done before pregnancy, depending on their needs.
